Billing & Minutes

A call minute is talk time on a connected outbound call — a call a person actually answers. We bill per second of conversation, drawn from your plan’s monthly allowance and rounded to the minute. Ringing, no-answers, and engaged tones aren’t charged.

No. You’re billed only for calls that connect to a person. No-answers, busy signals, and engaged tones don’t use your minutes. If a call reaches voicemail and you’ve set a message to drop, only the short message time is counted.

No. Each plan includes a set number of call minutes per month that reset at the start of your billing cycle, so unused minutes don’t carry over.

Calls keep running — extra minutes are simply billed at your plan’s per-minute rate ($0.75 on Core, $0.65 on Scale, $0.55 on Max). You can move up a plan at any time for a lower rate and more included minutes.

Calling & Campaigns

Yes. AiDial uses answering-machine detection to recognise voicemail and answering machines, and can either leave a pre-set message or schedule a retry, based on your campaign settings.

Yes. Each contact can carry details such as first name, company, and the reason for the call, which AiDial weaves into the greeting and conversation — so every call sounds tailored, not scripted.

You set the retry rules per campaign — how many attempts and how long to wait between them. AiDial automatically re-attempts no-answer and busy contacts within your permitted calling windows.

Your plan sets the limit: 2 calls at once on Core, 5 on Scale, and 10 on Max. Higher concurrency clears a campaign list faster.

Yes. Campaigns can be scheduled to start and stop within your chosen windows, and paused or resumed at any time. Calling-hours controls keep dialling within permitted hours in each recipient’s timezone.

Upload a CSV of contacts (with any personalisation fields), or push leads in through the API or your CRM. Each new batch runs as a fresh campaign, so live campaigns are never disrupted.

Yes. Call outcomes, summaries, and transcripts can be pushed to your CRM after every call, so your records stay up to date without manual entry.

Yes. You can present your own verified business number as the caller ID so recipients recognise who’s calling, or use a dedicated number we provision for the campaign.

Plans cover outbound calling to standard Australian landline and mobile numbers. International, premium-rate, and special-service numbers aren’t included and are quoted separately on request.

Compliance & Consent

It depends on the call. Telemarketing and research calls to Australian numbers must be washed against the Do Not Call Register. Service calls — appointment reminders, recalls, and payment notices — are exempt. If you’re unsure, ask us and we’ll help classify your campaign.

Yes. With the optional DNCR Processing add-on, we check your list against the ACMA Do Not Call Register before dialling and keep the result current within the 30-day window. Larger or more frequent checks are quoted separately.

For telemarketing, calls run 9am–8pm on weekdays and 9am–5pm on Saturdays — never on Sundays or public holidays — in each recipient’s local time. Research calls may also run Sundays 9am–5pm. AiDial enforces these windows automatically.

You own your contact lists and the consent or exemption basis for calling them. AiDial provides the tools to record consent and exemptions, enforce calling-hours, and suppress opt-outs — but the lawful basis for each call stays with you.

AiDial captures opt-outs and wrong numbers during the call and suppresses that number from future dialling on your account — even if a later list says it’s callable.
